A very different cafe, with a very different manager! coffee is ok.
Not suited for a family. Not really sure if this a cafe, a restaurant or a lobby !

My family, a friend and I visited Jamie's recently for a quick lunch. I have lived in Exeter for years and usually go to a nearby cafe but thought we'd try Jamie's for a change. Big mistake. The drinks order was messed up. OK, no worries, it happens. But the food was a joke. I ordered two wraps for the kids. Instead we got tiny little toasted paninis that looked like they had been trodden on. I trudged down the ridiculous staircase to the waitress and explained that this was not what I had ordered. She said they always toast their wraps. So I asked her what the difference on their menu between their wrap and their panini. No response. I explained that a wrap is wrapped, the clue is in the name! I said well I will not be accepting these covers. It was all very amicable at this time but would not be order anything as replacement from their menu.
Our grown ups three breakfasts arrived which were fine, but then the manager arrived and began to lecture me about wraps and that how I was wrong. I suggested we talked after we've eaten as the food was going cold. But he still would not go. Eventually my friend suggested he writes 'toasted' on his menu next to wraps but in the meantime would he please leave us alone! We should have just got up and left then and there but we could not believe a cafe manager could behave so badly.
When I went down to pay he very aggressively began trying to lecture me again about wraps, I said that I didn't want to hear anymore about it and just wanted to pay and go (but not for the crushed paninis I might add). He actually tried to cover my mouth with his hand to enable him to speak! He obviously has a problem with aggression and should not be anywhere near customers or in the cafe business. Be aware!
Anywhere we got out in one piece and I didn't pay his 'wraps'.
